CYBER RANGES is a next-generation cyber range provider based in Limassol. Its cloud-based platform manages the full lifecycle of realistic cybersecurity scenarios, from creation and distribution to delivery for end-users.
задачи
Design, deploy, and operate multi-node, highly available OpenStack environments;
Manage OpenStack control-plane and data-plane services across multiple regions;
Plan and execute major OpenStack upgrades and migrations, including Train, Wallaby, Yoga, Zed, Caracal, or similar releases;
Deploy and maintain OpenStack using Kolla-Ansible and Ansible;
Operate and troubleshoot Neutron, Nova, Keystone, Glance, Cinder, Placement, Heat, Zun, and Kuryr;
Manage highly available HAProxy, Keepalived, RabbitMQ, MariaDB/Galera, and Memcached infrastructure components;
Integrate and operate Ceph storage with OpenStack;
Troubleshoot complex Linux, virtualization, storage, and network issues;
Automate deployment, monitoring, backup, recovery, patching, and lifecycle-management activities;
Work closely with infrastructure, security, application, and operations teams;
Produce technical documentation, operational procedures, and upgrade or recovery plans.
требования
At least 5 years of hands-on OpenStack engineering or operations experience;
Proven experience building and operating production OpenStack clusters;
Demonstrable experience performing OpenStack upgrades, migrations, or major version transitions;
Strong experience with Linux, KVM, Libvirt, Ansible, and Kolla-Ansible;
Strong understanding of OpenStack architecture, service dependencies, cells, scheduling, and placement;
Strong Linux networking knowledge, including VLANs, network bonding, bridges, Open vSwitch, routing, NAT, MTU, overlay networking, VXLAN, Geneve, and provider networks;
Experience troubleshooting Nova, Neutron, RabbitMQ, Galera, HAProxy, and API-related failures;
Good understanding of high availability, capacity planning, monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery;
Ability to diagnose issues using logs, packet captures, service states, database records, and message queues;
OpenStack experience must extend beyond launching virtual machines through Horizon or using OpenStack CLI commands;
Nice to have: Docker and containerized OpenStack operations, Kubernetes, Helm, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins or similar automation platforms, Prometheus, Grafana, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch or centralized logging platforms, Python or Bash scripting, experience operating OpenStack in disconnected, restricted, government, defence or security-sensitive environments, familiarity with cybersecurity lab, cyber-range or enterprise private-cloud environments.
