DevOps Engineer

• Act as the operational SME for the product, developing a strong understanding of its infrastructure and tooling while partnering with business and technology teams;
• Ensure full compliance with departmental processes, reducing incidents and risks through proactive analysis, accurate impact assessment, and support for development changes;
• Identify and manage operational risks, mitigating short-term issues while driving long-term, sustainable resolutions;
• Lead DevOps engineering within a cross-functional development pod, ensuring the platform is resilient, scalable, secure, and fully automated;
• Own CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation, applying modern DevOps and GitOps practices to improve reliability and delivery speed;
• Build and automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform and configuration management tools, driving an automation-first culture and running the platform;
• Mentor and provide technical guidance to DevOps engineers.

• Demonstrated AWS and Kubernetes expertise;
• Hands-on experience with Terraform, CI/CD tools (Git, Jenkins, Ansible), and scripting (Bash/Python);
• Ability to compose solutions for complex systems and guide teams on deployment best practices;
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills;
• Nice to have: Experience with modern tooling (DataDog, GitLab, ServiceNow), networking diagnostics, Agile practices, AWS certifications, and financial services background.
