Azure cloud engineer

Join PRODYNA, a leading Microsoft partner, and help our customers build and operate modern Azure environments. We specialize in implementing Azure Landing Zones with a 100% Terraform/Terragrunt approach and continuously expand our blueprint with additional integrations, such as GitHub Enterprise Cloud, Azure DevOps, and Azure DevBoxes. We are looking for an Engineer to guide our customers through successful cloud adoption based on the principles of the Cloud Adoption Framework (CAF).

• Implement dynamically scalable, highly available, and secure cloud infrastructure in Azure or AWS.
• Plan private networking, firewalls, VPNs, load balancers, and DNS to ensure secure, high-performance connectivity.
• Implement IAM/RBAC, Managed Identities/Service Principals, and federated identities (OIDC/Workload Identity) properly.
• Define reproducible infrastructure with Terraform/Tofu and use GitOps and pipeline workflows (e.g. GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, GitLab CI).
• Establish monitoring, logging, tracing, and alerting (e.g. Azure Monitor/CloudWatch and centralized logs/diagnostics) and improve availability and performance.
• Use container orchestration (Kubernetes), serverless patterns, and managed services effectively, including standardized deployments.

• Experience with Azure (confidently using the console/portal); initial hands-on experience provisioning and managing cloud resources.
• Familiarity with the various compute options and setting up secure private networks.
• Hands-on experience with Terraform/Tofu (Terragrunt is a plus), CLI automation (Azure CLI/AWS CLI); familiarity with Git workflows.
• Understanding of IAM, RBAC, Managed Identities/Service Principals, OIDC/Workload Identity, network security, encryption, and compliance principles.
• Familiarity with at least one monitoring solution (e.g. Azure Monitor/CloudWatch) and infrastructure logging/diagnostics.
• At least one scripting language (Python, PowerShell, or Bash) and basic Linux skills (login, navigation, files, CLI tools).
• Understanding of how Kubernetes/container orchestration and serverless can be used effectively in infrastructure designs.
• Team spirit, a positive “can-do” attitude, clear documentation, attention to detail in problem-solving; German and English (at least C1).
