AI platform engineer

We are looking for a Senior AI Platform Engineer to build and scale AI-driven engineering solutions that improve developer productivity across the software development lifecycle (SDLC). This role combines AI Engineering, Platform Engineering and DevOps. We are looking for a highly autonomous engineer with strong technical ownership and proven experience building and deploying AI agents in production environments . Experience limited to proof-of-concepts is not sufficient.

• Design and implement AI agent workflows and automation across the SDLC.
• Develop AI agents using orchestration, tool integration, MCP and context engineering.
• Implement evaluation frameworks, guardrails and quality controls.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation and developer tooling.
• Integrate AI-powered workflows with enterprise systems such as Jira and source control platforms.

• 8+ years of software engineering experience, including senior or lead-level responsibilities.
• Proven experience deploying AI agents in production, including orchestration, MCP and evaluation frameworks.
• Strong background in Platform Engineering, DevOps and CI/CD.
• Proficiency in Python and TypeScript.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure (GCP or equivalent) and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar).
• Experience with internal developer platforms, CLIs or workflow engines.
• Hands-on experience with agentic coding tools and a strong understanding of the SDLC.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Currently residing in Portugal
• English proficiency: C1 minimum.
• Availability within 30 days, ideally sooner.
