• Audit the existing system and assess its technical state;
• Design the application architecture and set the direction for its development;
• Refactor, rebuild, and industrialise the solution through hands-on coding;
• Make technical decisions about what to keep, refactor, or rebuild, and identify production risks;
• Build a professional engineering process around AI-assisted development.

• Demonstrate very strong TypeScript skills, ideally across the full stack;
• Have very good Node.js and backend skills;
• Have experience with modern JavaScript/TypeScript frontend development;
• Have very good SQL/PostgreSQL and database design skills;
• Have experience refactoring and taking over an existing codebase;
• Be able to assess and design application architecture;
• Have experience with automated testing;
• Know CI/CD, GitHub, and branching/release processes;
• Have experience with cloud, deployment, and infrastructure;
• Know application security and authentication/authorization;
• Have experience integrating with external APIs;
• Know monitoring, backup, and disaster recovery;
• Have very good English;
• Nice to have: experience with Stripe, experience with AI-assisted development (Claude Code / Cursor / Copilot).
