Technical co-founder in enterprise AI

ValueGuard is an early-stage enterprise AI platform building a new layer of post-signature commercial control. We help companies turn contractual obligations into verifiable economic controls — comparing what should have happened under agreed commercial terms with actual transactions, identifying monetary discrepancies, and producing evidence-backed results for human review. Our approach combines contract intelligence, deterministic financial calculations, and governed AI. We work alongside existing ERP, finance, procurement, and contract-management systems rather than replacing them. We have a working prototype and are progressing toward enterprise discovery and pilot validation.

• Own the platform architecture, backend systems, data models, APIs, and technical roadmap.
• Build reliable document-processing and AI-assisted workflows with traceable evidence and reproducible financial calculations.
• Design secure enterprise infrastructure, including access controls, data isolation, auditability, and deployment options.
• Develop integrations with ERP, financial, procurement, and other enterprise systems.
• Lead technical discovery and solution validation with prospective enterprise customers.
• Establish engineering standards, automated testing, AI-assisted development practices, and operational reliability.
• Help recruit and lead the engineering team as ValueGuard grows.
• Contribute to technical due diligence, enterprise security discussions, and fundraising.

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience, including hands-on ownership of complex production systems. Exceptional candidates with shorter but highly relevant experience are welcome.
• Strong backend/platform engineering skills, preferably Python and modern API architectures. Experience with TypeScript, Go, or similar technologies is valuable.
• Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, asynchronous processing, and distributed systems.
• Practical experience with enterprise security, authentication and authorization, encryption, audit logging, and secure infrastructure.
• Experience building reliable data pipelines, document-processing systems, and production AI/LLM workflows.
• Familiarity with cloud infrastructure, containerization, CI/CD, monitoring, and secure deployment practices.
• Ability to translate complex business requirements into pragmatic technical solutions.
• Strong problem-solving skills, engineering judgment, ownership mentality, and the ambition to build a company.
• Fluent English is required.
