• Accelerate distributed systems like Apache Spark, Hadoop, and Ray;
• Build native Rust-based execution engines;
• Perform deep performance tuning including SIMD, cache locality, and zero-copy IO.

• Have 5+ years of relevant experience in systems programming;
• Own complex performance-critical components end-to-end;
• Navigate hardware/software boundaries, memory management, I/O tuning, and concurrency;
• Thrive in high-autonomy environments with high standards;
• Collaborate with top engineers and deliver impact without hand-holding;
• Demonstrate a proven track record in systems programming in Rust, low-level performance optimization, and building high-performance infrastructure and distributed systems;
• Demonstrate expertise in Rust;
• Understand computer architecture, operating systems, and networking fundamentals deeply;
• Bring experience in low-level system architecture;
• Have experience with multi-threading, memory layout optimization, or custom allocators;
• Show a proven ability to take full ownership of complex challenges from inception to delivery with strong attention to detail and a problem-solving mindset;
• Dive into unfamiliar codebases and optimize them quickly;
• Work comfortably with minimal abstraction layers in high-performance environments;
• Speak English fluently at C1 level;
• Nice to have: Experience with distributed systems, Apache Spark, Hadoop, Ray, SIMD, cache locality, zero-copy IO.
