• Develop, maintain, and enhance backend features using Python;
• Take ownership of assigned tasks and features from implementation through deployment;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code;
• Suggest improvements and ways to enhance software functionality;
• Ensure the quality and reliability of delivered features.

• 4+ Years of backend development experience, including at least 3 years of hands-on Python development;
• Strong experience building and operating production systems on AWS;
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing scalable distributed systems, including microservices and REST APIs;
• Experience with NoSQL databases, preferably MongoDB;
• Experience implementing observability solutions using Grafana, Datadog, or similar tools;
• Strong understanding of backend design principles, clean architecture, system reliability, and performance optimization;
• Ability to take ownership of features end-to-end, from design and implementation to deployment and production monitoring;
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex production issues;
• Hands-on experience with AI tools or a strong willingness to use them to improve engineering efficiency and code quality;
• Upper-Intermediate level of English;
• Nice to have: experience with serverless architectures, AWS Lambda, the Serverless Framework, Docker, Kubernetes, SQL databases, relational data modeling, additional cloud providers such as GCP or Azure, data platforms or close collaboration with BI/Data teams, Agile environments such as Scrum or Kanban.
