Oxigent Technologies is recruiting a Senior Python Engineer to join the Code Foundations team in Barcelona. The Code Foundations team is at the heart of the backend ecosystem: they develop and maintain critical infrastructure, cross-functional Python libraries, and messaging systems used by the rest of the engineering teams, ensuring a cohesive, resilient ecosystem that can withstand failures without compromising the system.

Manage critical and complex services, ensuring backend quality (SOLID) and guaranteeing the resilience of the ecosystem.
Design the microservices architecture, creating shared libraries and efficient internal communication systems.
Participate in the technology migration to Go (Golang) of high-volume services to maximize performance.
Implement technical excellence standards (Clean Code, TDD, BDD, DDD) and optimize deployments on AWS and Kubernetes.
Work using agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), using tools such as Docker to streamline the software lifecycle.

At least 7 years of solid experience in Python.
In-depth knowledge of Clean Code, SOLID patterns, TDD, BDD, DDD, and microservices architecture.
Experience with cloud environments and infrastructure using AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, RESTful APIs, and messaging systems.
C1 / Fluent English (Essential): Ability to communicate fluently every day and understand a variety of international accents (US, Germany, France, etc.).
Soft skills (Key to the team): Humble, highly communicative, curious, proactive, and a strong team spirit.

Permanent employment through Oxigent in a role with maximum technical impact.
Very competitive salary range: Up to €62,000 gross per year.
Ongoing training: Learning and training in Golang.
Hybrid remote work model (3 days on-site in Poblenou / 2 days remote).
Flexible hours from Monday to Thursday, and every Friday of the year working from 08:00 to 15:00.
