The client is a leading organisation operating within the defence and security sector. It develops critical systems that support national security initiatives and delivers high-profile projects with significant impact.

• Develop, test, and maintain Python-based applications aligned with project requirements;
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust solutions;
• Analyse system specifications and translate them into high-quality code;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise existing applications for improved performance;
• Ensure all work complies with security protocols and industry standards;
• Document development processes and contribute to technical reports.

• Proven experience developing with Python in a professional setting;
• Active security clearance at SC level or above;
• Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and best practices;
• Ability to interpret technical specifications and translate them into functional code;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Nice to have: experience in the defence, security, or related sectors, familiarity with secure coding practices and compliance standards, knowledge of Java or REST APIs, experience in agile development environments, strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary teams.

• £400 To £500 per day DOE Outside IR35;
• Initial 6 Months;
• ASAP Start;
