Fliff operates a rewards-driven entertainment platform spanning sports, casino, predictions, and collectibles. Its freemium architecture gives players access to social games and interactive rewards.

• Take ownership of backend features and improvements from design through implementation, deployment, and production support
• Design, develop, and maintain scalable, high-performance backend services using Python and Django, including asynchronous components where applicable
• Write unit and integration tests to improve system reliability, prevent regressions, and strengthen test coverage and testing practices
• Estimate software development effort for features and long-term technical initiatives
• Collaborate with product, QA, and engineering teams to turn requirements into technical solutions
• Participate in code reviews, improve engineering quality, and contribute to technical decisions

• At least 5+ years of development experience, with Python as the primary language
• Strong experience building production backend systems with Django and asynchronous Python (asyncio)
• Strong fundamentals in algorithms, data structures, and concurrency
• Experience designing architecture for highly loaded, scalable solutions
• Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL, including complex SQL queries, schema design, migrations, and performance tuning
• Experience with Redis for caching and state management in distributed systems
• Strong understanding of the development cycle, from requirements analysis and deployment to application monitoring
• Willingness to participate in on-call rotations
