• Take ownership of the design and development of scalable, cloud-native applications;
• Work across the full software development lifecycle, from architecture and backend services through to frontend development, CI/CD and Azure deployment;
• Collaborate with the founding team to influence technical direction;
• Solve complex engineering challenges;
• Establish engineering practices supporting the company’s future growth;
• Build innovative products using Python, TypeScript and AI technologies;
• Influence product decisions, architecture and engineering culture.

• Advanced Python skills;
• Experience in a tech start-up environment;
• Experience building software from scratch and iterating quickly;
• Experience with RESTful APIs;
• Experience with LLMs and agentic AI;
• Proactive and entrepreneurial mindset;
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new technologies;
• Comfort working in unstructured start-up environments;
• Collaborative approach and strong communication skills;
• Degree educated, with a minimum 2.1 at BSc from a top-tier university;
• Computer Science or closely related degree;
• Nice to have: FastAPI, TypeScript, React, HTML5, CSS3, MSc or PhD.
