• Own the system’s technical direction, define and evolve its architecture, and make implementation decisions in collaboration with the CTO;
• Design and build complex data and processing pipelines and workflows, particularly around 3D and visualization data;
• Provide technical direction to a small cross-functional team;
• Drive an AI-assisted development workflow, including multi-agent orchestration with specialized agents;
• Proactively identify and drive system improvements;
• Produce clean, well-tested code; review, debug, and document it.

• Have 5+ years of Python experience and a track record of working independently and leading technically;
• Have proven experience designing systems and building non-trivial pipelines and workflows end to end;
• Build with AI-assisted development tools daily and be ready to spearhead their adoption across the team;
• Be comfortable reading, reviewing, optimizing, and refactoring large codebases according to sound engineering practices;
• Have solid experience with Postgres, Git, and RESTful/RPC services;
• Have strong written and spoken English;
• Demonstrate a collaborative mindset and high ownership;
• Nice to have: Django 4.2+, cloud experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, containers, CI/CD, automated deployments, database and web-server performance monitoring and alerting, foundational linear algebra, matrix operations and transformations, statistics and probability, Python numerical and 3D libraries including NumPy, SciPy, Matplotlib, Open3D, and PyTorch.
