Python automation developer for investment products

Support Tangem’s investment product team by automating reporting, building internal tools, and accelerating experimentation. You will sit between Product, Operations, and the Data team, turning business requirements into working scripts, services, and internal tools without dependency on full engineering cycles. This is a hands-on builder role with end-to-end ownership: scoping requests from product and operations, shipping solutions, and iterating based on use. Some deliverables will be short-lived (e.g. a campaign tracker running for six weeks); others will become permanent infrastructure. Both are treated as equally valuable.

• Build automation and internal tools that address concrete operational problems: provider reconciliations, campaign activity tracking, partner reporting, and recurring manual processes.
• Integrate with external and internal APIs to move data and trigger actions across systems.
• Translate ambiguous requests from product and operations into delivered solutions: scope, build, ship, and support.
• Develop temporary instrumentation to validate product features or measure marketing campaigns, and decommission it when no longer required.
• Perform light analysis on the data produced by these tools, sufficient to answer business questions.
• Contribute to DWH ingestion and pipeline work alongside Data Engineering.

• Strong Python skills, with proven experience developing production-grade automation, integrations, or backend services.
• Strong SQL skills, including writing non-trivial queries against relational databases (joins, window functions, query optimization).
• Hands-on experience integrating with third-party REST APIs, including authentication, pagination, rate limiting, and error handling.
• Working knowledge of Git-based workflows, code review, testing, and deploying services to a Linux environment (Docker, CI/CD).
• Experience designing and operating scheduled jobs, background workers, or event-driven processes (e.g. cron, Airflow, Celery, queues, or equivalent).
