Feedonomics develops platform feed management solutions, including merchant-facing feed features and integrations with product catalogs, sales channels, and marketplaces.

• Own projects requiring the deepest technical judgment and highest release risk on the team;
• Define and evolve architectural direction and technical patterns for owned projects;
• Establish standards followed by other engineers;
• Review and approve solution descriptions and sizing;
• Validate technical approaches, involving another Lead or Staff Engineer when needed;
• Partner with Product on refinement, decomposition, and keeping projects current in Jira;
• Architect and develop scalable PHP APIs, services, and solutions from concept to production;
• Own the release process and CI pipeline health;
• Serve as the escalation point during releases and coordinate rollbacks when needed;
• Drive improvements to the release pipeline;
• Grow a bench of additional releasers;
• Mentor other engineers and support their visible growth;
• Serve as the pull-based escalation path for other project owners;
• Integrate AI-powered capabilities into merchant-facing feed features when required;
• Model the team's technical and cultural practices.

• 7+ Years of professional software engineering experience;
• Expert PHP skills and experience building scalable, production-grade APIs and services;
• Experience with MySQL or similar relational data stores;
• Ability to own delivery for medium to large, ambiguous technical problems;
• Experience mentoring engineers with visible, named growth over time;
• Strong written and verbal communication skills;
• Comfortable representing the team in cross-functional conversations;
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience;
• English proficiency at B2 level or higher;
• Nice to have: Experience with modern JS/TS frameworks such as Angular or React, caching technologies such as Redis, e-commerce, product catalog, or sales channel/marketplace data models, production integration with AI or LLM-powered services.

• Work schedule from 1–2 PM to 10 PM Kyiv time;
• On-call duties.
