• Lead a team of developers by planning their work, managing timelines, ensuring code quality, improving development processes, and mentoring engineers;
• Manage technical debt across owned services and take ownership of technology decisions;
• Optimize backend performance, reliability, and scalability using best practices and modern technologies;
• Collaborate with stakeholders, product managers, frontend developers, ML developers, and other teams to gather requirements and deliver solutions;
• Design, develop, and enhance PHP backend applications for eCarsTrade's auction platform;
• Use Docker for containerization and orchestration to support deployment and scalability;
• Implement CI/CD pipelines to automate testing, deployment, and delivery;
• Maintain a customer-centric approach when delivering features and enhancements for users.

• 6+ Years of hands-on experience in PHP development;
• 2+ Years of team leadership experience;
• Leadership qualities and the ability to inspire and motivate team members, drive technical initiatives, and lead by example;
• Proficiency in Docker for application containerization and deployment;
• Experience implementing and optimizing queues for background task processing;
• Solid understanding of backend system and infrastructure scaling principles;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Passion for writing clean, efficient code;
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
• Proven track record of delivering high-quality software solutions on schedule and within budget;
• Experience with CI/CD principles and tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar;
• English and Russian proficiency are mandatory.
