• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services using Node.js;
• Build and maintain RESTful APIs and/or GraphQL endpoints;
• Implement business logic and server-side integrations;
• Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and query optimization;
• Integrate third-party services and external APIs;
• Ensure application performance, reliability, and scalability;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code;
• Implement authentication, authorization, and other security best practices;
• Participate in code reviews and improve code quality standards;
• Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and other team members;
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve backend issues;
• Support CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.

• At least 2 years of experience as a Backend Developer using Node.js;
• Strong knowledge of JavaScript (ES6+) and/or TypeScript;
• Experience building RESTful APIs and backend services;
• Understanding of asynchronous programming and Node.js internals;
• Experience with NestJS and/or Express.js;
• Experience with relational and NoSQL databases, including PostgreSQL/MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis;
• Understanding of authentication, authorization, and security basics;
• Experience with Git, code reviews, and team-based development;
• Basic knowledge of Docker and CI/CD;
• Experience writing unit and integration tests;
• English at Upper-Intermediate level or above;
• German at Intermediate+ level or above;
• Nice to have: front-end development experience with React or Angular, familiarity with Kafka, Kubernetes, and Jenkins.
