• Build scalable and high-quality applications;

• A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred;
• Proven professional experience as a Node.js Developer, Backend Developer, or similar role;
• Strong experience with Node.js and server-side JavaScript/TypeScript development;
• Solid knowledge of TypeScript and/or JavaScript;
• Experience with Node.js frameworks such as Express, NestJS, Fastify, or similar;
• Strong understanding of asynchronous programming and event-driven architectures;
• Experience with relational databases, particularly PostgreSQL, MySQL, or similar;
• Knowledge of SQL, data modelling, and database optimisation;
• Experience with Git and modern version control practices;
• Experience writing and maintaining automated tests using Jest or equivalent;
• Understanding of API security and web application security best practices;
• Experience with application deployment and modern DevOps practices;
• Familiarity with Docker and containerised applications;
• Experience working in Agile development environments;
• Strong communication and collaboration skills;
• Fluency in English;
• Nice to have: Familiarity with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB, experience with React or other frontend technologies, experience with GraphQL, knowledge of Kafka, RabbitMQ, or other messaging systems, experience with microservices and distributed systems, experience with WebSockets or real-time applications, familiarity with AWS, Azure, or GCP, experience with CI/CD platforms and cloud deployment, knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies, experience with observability tools such as OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, or Grafana.
