Nuitée operates a white-label travel platform for travel brands, banks, and influencers. Its platform offers hotels and flights, with experiences, car rentals, and additional payment providers planned.
задачи
Own the backend as the platform adds new verticals
Shape the architecture and lead integrations for each new vertical while contributing code
Set technical standards and improve the backend foundations
Design the backend to support new verticals without rebuilding existing functionality
Identify technical debt affecting reliability or delivery speed and prioritize fixes while shipping
Integrate third-party travel APIs and payment providers to keep bookings reliable when suppliers are slow or fail
Build dependable schedulers, cron jobs, and workers as traffic grows
Maintain AWS infrastructure performance for client launches without over-engineering
Take ownership of product outcomes beyond assigned tickets and step in when a teammate is unavailable
Make backend decisions and contribute code amid ambiguity and changing priorities
требования
4 To 5 years of backend engineering experience
At least 2 years of full-time Node.js and TypeScript experience in production; Java or Python backgrounds are welcome if followed by full-time Node.js work
Experience designing REST APIs and relational schemas in PostgreSQL
Experience with background jobs, schedulers, or workers that integrate with third-party systems
Around 2 years of hands-on AWS experience, sufficient to run a product handling real traffic
Experience leading technical decisions for a team, or having been in a position to do so; must still write code daily
Comfortable with ambiguity, a fast pace, responsibility, limited process, parallel features, changing priorities, and making decisions with incomplete information
Less suited to candidates who prefer structured environments and clearly defined scope from day one
