Frontend Engineer

Xsolla is a global commerce company that provides tools and services to help video game developers fund, distribute, market, and monetize their games. It operates as the merchant of record and has helped over 1,500 game developers reach more players and grow their businesses worldwide.

• Develop and maintain frontend applications and features
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested code with unit and E2E test coverage
• Build semantic, adaptive, cross-browser, and cross-platform layouts that follow web standards and accessibility best practices
• Design and implement reusable component systems and contribute to the shared UI library
• Optimize application rendering, bundle size, and Core Web Vitals
• Collaborate with designers using Figma to deliver consistent, pixel-perfect implementations
• Integrate backend services and external APIs, and agree on API contracts with backend engineers
• Configure and improve build tooling, CI/CD pipelines, and Docker environments
• Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architectural decisions
• Mentor Middle and Junior engineers and help improve product quality

• At least 5 years of commercial frontend development experience
• Advanced JavaScript (ES6+) expertise, including asynchronous programming, prototype-based OOP, classes, and memory management fundamentals
• Deep TypeScript knowledge, including generics, utility types, custom type declarations, and extending library types
• Advanced experience with semantic, adaptive, cross-browser, and cross-platform layouts, web standards, and accessibility
• Strong CSS skills, including SASS/SCSS and CSS-in-JS
• Experience with React, Vue, or similar frameworks, including reactivity, state management, component optimization, and render control
• Experience with state managers, SSR/isomorphic applications, and reusable component systems, including the compound components approach
• Understanding of data structures, algorithm complexity, design patterns, and basic caching techniques such as LRU
• Ability to decompose tasks and separate business logic from framework or library code
• Experience configuring and optimizing Vite or Webpack; using code quality tools; writing unit and E2E tests; integrating REST APIs and external services; and configuring and optimizing Docker containers
• Proficiency with Git and GitLab
• Confident use of Figma for design implementation
• Good written and spoken English
• Eager to learn new technologies and approaches; engaged with business processes and product goals; detail-oriented and responsible; actively participates in discussions to improve product quality; motivated to build products that make a difference for users
• Будет плюсом: experience with hybrid applications (WebView, React Native), Web3 frontend development and wallet integration and standards (EIP-1193, EIP-6963, EIP-712), ethers.js, viem, wagmi, Core Web Vitals and SEO, web security (XSS, CSRF, secure handling of user data), frontend performance profiling and monitoring, creating and maintaining design system libraries, leading technical initiatives or mentoring engineers, and using modern AI tools such as Claude, Copilot, and Cursor for code generation, review, and day-to-day engineering work
