.net developer for trading applications

Societe Generale’s Market Technologies and Operations division supports activities across booking, pricing, contribution, and full front-to-back processes for Fixed Income, Currencies, and Commodities products. The Trading Tool team develops and maintains front-office trading applications used by traders for market making.

• Build, deliver, and run applications using craftsmanship and best coding practices;
• Develop and support features in a functional application chain;
• Break down technical and functional requirements into detailed user stories and collaborate with the product owner and business analysts;
• Deliver and support the application through continuous delivery and DevOps;
• Write unit tests, review code, and contribute to non-regression testing;
• Maintain and improve production support for existing features;
• Recommend and implement process and performance improvements;
• Provide clear, consistent updates to clients and management;
• Migrate applications to .NET8;
• Support the migration from a heavy client to REST API and web User Interface.

• Have at least 3 years of professional experience in backend software development with C#;
• Be proficient in multi-threaded programming;
• Have experience with microservices architecture;
• Have solid experience with WPF and strong knowledge of its API design and implementation best practices;
• Communicate confidently in English;
• Be a team player who enjoys knowledge sharing and is proactive in problem-solving.
