machine learning engineer in cloud-based analytics

Us3 Consulting provides IT services and consulting, including machine learning and data science work in cloud-based environments.

• Query, transform, and analyse large datasets;
• Develop and evaluate machine learning models;
• Apply statistical analysis and statistical/ML modelling;
• Work with large-scale data platforms;
• Learn and apply new technologies in a cloud-based environment;
• Collaborate effectively within a team.

• Strong Python skills, including Scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and statsmodels;
• Strong SQL / RSQL skills;
• Experience working with Teradata data environments;
• Knowledge of querying and analysing data using Google BigQuery;
• Understanding of machine learning algorithms, model development, and model evaluation techniques;
• Knowledge of statistical analysis and statistical/ML modelling;
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
• Good communication skills;
• Ability to work effectively within a team;
• Nice to have: Experience with Azure Machine Learning Studio, knowledge of Azure Databricks, exposure to GCP and/or AWS cloud platforms, familiarity with cloud-based analytics and machine learning environments, ability and willingness to learn new technologies and tools.
