• Manage multiple microservices and supporting library projects in an event-driven microservices architecture powered by Kafka;
• Own the full lifecycle of savings accounts, rewards campaigns, the investment platform, and taxation;
• Build financial-grade, high-throughput systems that are correct and auditable;
• Integrate services with a broader ecosystem of microservices managed by other teams;
• Apply continuous delivery principles and standards;
• Participate in pair development and code review with human oversight.

• Have solid backend software development experience;
• Be strongly proficient in the Java/Spring Boot ecosystem and Hibernate;
• Be experienced with microservices, event-driven architectures, and REST APIs;
• Be experienced with relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL, transactions and concurrency, and maintaining large, high-traffic tables;
• Have experience with continuous delivery and test-driven development (ATDD), or be willing to learn and adapt;
• Nice to have: experience in financial systems, experience with observability stacks.
