• Conduct discovery, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance of software;
• Manage individual project priorities and deliverables within a collaborative team;
• Stay up to date with the latest technology trends;
• Propose new product ideas, build technical tools, and experiment with architectural approaches during Get Stuff Done Days;
• Partner with Product Owners, Tech Leads, and Designers to translate user needs into scalable backend systems;
• Take initiatives from early-stage ideas through to customer-facing results;
• Negotiate delivery scope and provide realistic timelines;
• Write well-tested and well-documented code;
• Give and receive open, direct, and timely feedback.

• Experience developing software with a JVM language and Spring Boot in large-scale production systems;
• In-depth understanding of microservice architecture;
• Knowledge of relational and non-relational databases, preferably Postgres;
• Experience with modern cloud architecture, preferably AWS;
• Ability to use AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development without sacrificing quality;
• Product-centric mindset focused on understanding why and what before how;
• Strong sense of ownership and initiative;
• Strong execution mindset;
• Ongoing attention to security;
• Ability to work collaboratively and share knowledge;
