• Design and develop highly scalable backend services and APIs for front-end applications and third-party integrations;
• Build and maintain databases with secure and efficient data access;
• Collaborate with front-end developers, DevOps, and product teams to define and implement new features;
• Optimize the performance and reliability of server-side code;
• Implement best practices and security protocols for backend systems;
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code according to industry standards and team best practices;
• Monitor and troubleshoot production systems to ensure high availability and rapid issue response;
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes;
• Architect and deliver robust solutions powering core business functionality.

• 7+ Years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer working on large-scale systems;
• Proficiency in Ruby on Rails;
• Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL database systems, including efficient data architecture design;
• Experience with AWS, GCP, or Azure;
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes;
• Solid understanding of RESTful API design and development, including third-party service integrations;
• Strong focus on performance optimization, scalability, and security;
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
• Strong communication skills;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
