backend developer

The company develops high-scale backend pipelines and data-heavy systems, including production-grade ingestion and processing systems.

• Design and implement high-scale backend systems;
• Build and operate backend ingestion and processing pipelines;
• Make architecture decisions based on real data volumes;
• Work with event-driven systems, Kafka-based ingestion and streaming, producers, consumers, and batching;
• Develop occasional frontend features, including small UI tasks and new pages;
• Operate reliably in Kubernetes and AWS environments;
• Monitor and debug production systems using logs, metrics, and tracing.

• Production experience with TypeScript and Node.js;
• Strong experience with NestJS;
• Strong experience designing backend systems at high scale, including autoscaling, high availability, performance, resilience, and failure modes;
• Strong knowledge of event-driven systems;
• Deep PostgreSQL and SQL skills, including schema modeling and query optimization;
• Hands-on Kafka experience;
• Working knowledge of Redis;
• Production familiarity with AWS and Kubernetes environments;
• Nice to have: Security domain familiarity in application security, runtime protection, or vulnerability management; prior work in data-intensive security platforms or similar high-scale systems.
