Insify builds GRID, a configurable insurance platform that handles carrier integrations, underwriting rules, policy administration, and regulatory complexity across multiple products and countries. The company aims to become the European leader in AI-powered SME insurance.

• Build and extend the GRID platform for policy issuance, mid-term adjustments, renewals, carrier integrations, and the back-office portal;
• Design product configuration systems for onboarding new insurance products and carriers without rewriting core logic;
• Own the policy administration layer and maintain a clean domain model;
• Build renewal and migration tooling, including automated workflows, portfolio migrations, and safe, auditable operational tools;
• Implement underwriting and product configuration logic, including raters, field mappings, underwriting rules, product wordings, and the SPC graph engine;
• Partner with Operations, Product, and Insurance to translate carrier specifications and regulatory requirements into clean, testable platform capabilities;
• Set the engineering bar for the GRID domain, including correctness, configurability, observability, and backward compatibility;
• Own incidents and operational health of GRID.

• 3+ Years of professional software engineering experience, ideally with TypeScript and AWS, including Lambda, DynamoDB, and event-driven architectures;
• Strong abstraction and platform design skills, including data modeling and API contract design;
• Solid fundamentals in distributed systems, event-driven architecture, and API design;
• Experience with multi-tenancy, configuration-driven systems, and regulated, multi-jurisdiction environments;
• Strong ownership mindset and responsibility for platform stability and extensibility;
• Clear communication skills and ability to translate carrier contracts into system designs;
• Active use of AI for coding, debugging, and tooling;
• Nice to have: Experience building insurance, fintech, or SaaS platforms with multi-tenant product configuration, familiarity with policy administration systems or insurance product configuration, experience launching products in new markets or countries with regulatory and localization complexity, internal back-office platform experience, strong observability practices, and experience operating production systems at scale.
