• Establish strong partnerships with Product Managers and Designers to translate user needs into technical solutions;
• Challenge ideas and co-create solutions that address end-user problems;
• Own features end-to-end, from initial concept through release and ongoing stewardship;
• Make product decisions balancing speed, quality, and business impact;
• Challenge the status quo when appropriate and support product improvements;
• Use AI coding tools while maintaining human oversight of quality and strategy;
• Share best practices for prompt engineering, AI-driven refactoring, and maintaining a high quality bar;
• Drive architectural decisions using patterns such as Hexagonal Architecture;
• Build CI/CD and testing processes;
• Ensure observability, monitoring, quality, longevity, and scalable performance across the feature lifecycle.

• 6+ Years of professional software development experience;
• Experience in a product company, including SaaS, fintech, or marketplace experience;
• Deep proficiency in Java or Kotlin;
• Confidence working with complex backend architectures, APIs, and data models;
• Ability to proactively propose product improvements and own features end-to-end;
• Experience driving architectural decisions and balancing scalability with rapid iteration;
• Ability to use AI tools for routine tasks while remaining responsible for quality, integrity, and architectural consistency;
• Fluent English for speaking and writing in an English-speaking environment;
• Nice to have: Experience with Cursor, Gemini, or Claude Code.
