Kotlin Developer

• Own and deliver quarterly team goals, guiding engineers through ambiguous problems;
• Collaborate with product management, design, and analytics teams throughout the product development lifecycle;
• Identify and resolve project, process, technology, or business issues;
• Support system operations and availability by creating metrics, monitoring, and participating in on-call efforts;
• Establish and improve code review and design standards to foster a culture of quality and ownership;
• Develop team talent by providing feedback, guidance, and leading by example.

• 4+ Years of experience designing, developing, and launching backend systems at scale using Python or Kotlin;
• Track record of developing highly available distributed systems using AWS, MySQL, and Kubernetes;
• Experience defining technical plans for significant features or system components with elegant and extensible designs;
• Proficiency in making significant changes in large codebases with safe tooling and practices;
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration;
• Nice to have: Experience mentoring engineers, supporting new hires, and contributing to hiring processes.
