Java software engineer for customer success

Feedzai develops AI-powered technology that helps financial institutions detect and prevent financial crime, fraud, and money laundering. Its platform protects more than one billion consumers and processes payment transactions for banks, payment networks, and acquirers.

• Execute the full software development life cycle, building integrations and enhancements to Feedzai’s core product
• Write well-designed, testable code
• Integrate software components into fully functional systems
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Deploy and support systems in production
• Follow best practices and industry standards
• Apply Agile principles to deliver quality products regularly
• Ensure proper feature deployment and product upgrades
• Provide second-tier support for live clients
• Install and configure solutions
• Develop custom Java inbound and outbound interfaces, extensions, and modules for the Fraud Analysis platform
• Use web services to enhance data in process
• Meet with clients, understand their needs, translate them into requirements, and deliver against those requirements

• BS or MS in computer science, a comparable field, or equivalent experience
• 2+ Years of experience in Java software development or another modern language
• Experience with SQL or NoSQL databases
• Client engagement experience and the ability to work with clients in a consultative manner
• Excellent English communication skills, both verbal and written

• Availability to travel up to 15%
