Halper is building an AI business manager for solopreneurs, professionals, and small businesses. These business owners often have to be the receptionist, scheduler, bookkeeper, customer support rep, and follow-up person all at once. Traditional tools are disconnected and often create more work instead of taking it off their plate. The role We’re looking for an AI Engineer who wants to take meaningful ownership of that challenge.

• Agents that understand customer messages, maintain context, and determine the right next step.
• Systems that connect conversations to business actions, such as handling requests, coordinating appointments, or following up.
• Quality and evaluation: building test cases, identifying patterns in failures, and measurably improving agent behavior.
• Russian-language experiences that feel natural, accurate, and consistent with each business’s way of communicating.
• Reliability, boundaries, and escalation: deciding when AI can act, when it should ask for clarification, and when a person should take over.
• Fast iteration with product and engineering: testing ideas, learning from results, and improving what reaches users.

• You’re fluent in Russian and have hands-on experience building software with AI or language models.
• You can explain what you built, the decisions you made, and what you learned when things didn’t work.
• You’re also comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities.
• We expect you to understand the goal, identify what’s missing, propose a path, and move the work forward independently.
• We value critical thinking, execution, and the willingness to discuss ideas directly.
• You don’t have to agree with everyone; you do need to make a strong case, listen, and commit to the solution once a decision is made.
