java developer Prime Brokerage

Citi Solutions Center Poland provides technology solutions for Prime Brokerage operations, supporting clients and traders and underpinning Citi’s Prime Finance business.

• Own and develop core components for the Prime Brokerage platform using Java/Kotlin;
• Provide technical leadership to an agile team, mentor developers, and establish coding, testing, and CI/CD best practices;
• Drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement in SDLC and DevOps using metrics such as DORA;
• Lead system architecture, design, planning, and estimation discussions with technical teams and business stakeholders;
• Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications;
• Oversee the creation and maintenance of project and technical documentation;
• Identify, mitigate, and solve complex risks throughout the software development lifecycle;
• Manage production support, analyze issue patterns, and lead efforts to improve system performance, scalability, and reliability.

• 6–10 Years of relevant experience in application development or systems analysis;
• Extensive experience in systems analysis and software application programming;
• Experience managing and implementing successful projects;
• Subject Matter Expert in at least one area of Applications Development;
• Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate;
• Demonstrated leadership and project management skills;
• Clear and concise written and verbal communication;
• Bachelor’s or university degree, or equivalent experience;
• Java and Test-Driven Development;
• Nice to have: Master’s degree, Kotlin, Kubernetes, Open Shift, Kafka, Solace, TIBCO, SQL Server, Trino, Mongo, S3, OpenTelemetry, Elastic Stack/ELK, Grafana.
