• Develop and deliver feature enhancements using .NET Core;
• Clear an existing backlog of development tasks;
• Maintain and enhance existing applications;
• Collaborate with technical and project teams to understand requirements and deliver high-quality solutions;
• Contribute to the planned migration from .NET Core to Java;
• Develop and support applications using Java and Spring Boot as the project progresses;
• Work with Microsoft Azure Cloud technologies;
• Contribute to application modernisation and migration activities;
• Troubleshoot issues and provide effective technical solutions;
• Work independently within a remote development environment.

• Strong commercial experience with .NET Core / C#;
• Strong software development experience within enterprise environments;
• Experience with Java and Spring Boot;
• Experience working with Microsoft Azure;
• Experience developing and enhancing existing applications;
• Ability to work across different technology stacks;
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills;
• Nice to have: experience migrating applications from .NET to Java, previous experience within the insurance or financial services sector, experience with large-scale enterprise applications, experience working within Agile development environments.

• Freelance, 6-month contract with extensions;
• The role is fully remote, but the successful candidate must collect their work laptop from Zurich.
