The team is building a trading platform for an innovative international top-tier hedge fund. The platform includes front-office tools for traders, pre-trade analysis, position and order management, risk and limits management, trading activity reports, FIX connectivity, and market data provider integrations.

• Maintain and improve existing backend services;
• Design, develop, and implement new backend services and APIs;
• Investigate production issues by analyzing application behavior, logs, and system performance to identify root causes;
• Provide continuous support, maintenance, and enhancements for existing applications;
• Provide level 3 support for production trading systems as needed;
• Address critical support issues in production environments.

• Hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Finance, or a related field;
• Demonstrate proficient knowledge of Java, including collections, multithreading and concurrency, and JVM memory management;
• Have strong experience with Spring and Spring Boot;
• Have practical experience with Apache Kafka and Docker;
• Have basic proficiency in Linux administration and command-line operations;
• Be able to write and troubleshoot SQL queries;
• Have experience working with REST APIs and backend integrations;
• English proficiency at C2 level;
• Nice to have: experience in hedge funds, proprietary trading firms, brokers, or other financial services companies; experience with AWS; experience supporting production applications; familiarity with monitoring and observability tools; experience with CI/CD pipelines.
