The role is offered for a banking-sector client through Astek, an IT Services and IT Consulting company.

• Prepare and configure the development environment;
• Implement new functionalities and develop existing code;
• Initiate and modify databases;
• Create and execute unit, integration, and performance tests;
• Conduct internal tests and verify the correctness of implemented changes;
• Control code quality and ensure solution compliance with system architecture and applicable standards;
• Prepare changes for deployment, including management of the code repository, configuration, and deployment documentation.

• Experience in programming and developing backend applications;
• Experience with systems processing large amounts of data in real time;
• Practical experience using Apache Kafka;
• Knowledge of database preparation and modification processes;
• Experience creating and executing unit, integration, and performance tests;
• Ability to maintain code quality and verify solution compliance with system architecture and applicable standards;
• Knowledge of preparing changes for deployment, including work with code repositories and technical documentation;
• Nice to have: knowledge of the Swing library.
