Luxoft is building ACQA, a cloud-native analytics and risk platform with business-specific applications and services. The platform supports investment bank risk and PnL management for traders, risk managers, and finance users.

• Build software for the ACQA analytics and risk platform;
• Develop production-grade software in a fast-paced environment;
• Improve the developer experience for engineers working on the ACQA platform;
• Help colleagues develop their technical skills;
• Collaborate with a highly skilled team to develop new solutions and build on existing work.

• Have a deep software engineering background and mindset;
• Understand several programming paradigms and languages;
• Understand design patterns and when not to use them;
• Communicate complex subjects concisely in written and spoken form;
• Have deep experience developing in Java at scale;
• Have experience with one of the JVM languages;
• Have strong knowledge of Spark or other data-focused work on massive, complex datasets;
• Have working knowledge of financial interest rate derivative products, their risks, and front-to-back processes;
• Have some exposure to AI-assisted software development using tools such as GitHub Copilot;
• Have some exposure to cloud-based systems;
• Be passionate about building software for end users;
• Be committed to improving developer experience;
• Enjoy helping colleagues develop their skills;
• Be collaborative and comfortable working in a highly skilled team;
• English: C1 Advanced;
• Nice to have: Python, PySpark, Spark, web-based UI frameworks, Microsoft Azure.
