The team supports backend development initiatives for a client, a leading British multinational in financial services and asset management. It builds cloud-native solutions for HR processes, including time tracking, leave management, and other workflows, in a highly regulated environment.
задачи
- Build and manage distributed workflows using AWS Step Functions
- Develop serverless applications and integrations using AWS services, such as Lambda, API Gateway, and EventBridge
- Design scalable, event-driven architectures aligned with enterprise standards
- Integrate workflow solutions with backend systems and external APIs
- Participate in architecture discussions and define technical solutions
- Ensure high code quality through best practices, testing, and code reviews
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams across delivery locations
- Support deployment and CI/CD processes in cloud environments
требования
- Strong AWS development experience
- Hands-on experience with AWS Step Functions
- Experience with EventBridge, SNS, and SQS
- Good understanding of event-driven and serverless architectures
- Strong backend development skills, preferably in Java or similar JVM-based languages
- Experience building and integrating APIs and microservices
- Ability to work autonomously and deliver production-quality code
- The key priority is strong AWS experience around Step Functions and event-driven services
- Будет плюсом: experience migrating workflow/orchestration platforms such as Camunda to AWS Step Functions, experience with AWS Lambda and serverless patterns, familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices for serverless flows
