Java Developer

Nexnet provides cloud-based solutions for customer-specific requirements, focusing on the development and operation of specialized software platforms.

• Develop and implement features within the Spring Boot-based cloud platform;
• Collaborate in cross-functional teams to implement new functions and extensions;
• Conduct and participate in code reviews to ensure best practices;
• Support and mentor junior developers or working students;
• Develop unit and integration tests and support quality management with test automation;
• Design and coordinate software architecture with the team;
• Manage the platform from development through to operation.

• Degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, or completed training as an IT specialist for application development, or equivalent qualification;
• Several years of professional experience in software development;
• Proficiency in Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and SQL databases;
• Experience with modern technologies such as AMQP, Hibernate, ElasticSearch, Kibana/Grafana, and Kubernetes;
• Expertise in AI-assisted software development, particularly agent-based tools;
• Understanding of business processes and their mapping in software solutions;
• Strong communication skills and a team-oriented, independent, and solution-driven mindset;
• Fluent in German and English (written and spoken).
