Head of data science division in banking

Head of Data Science Division is responsible for managing the process of AI/Machine Learning, Deep Learning model development, i.e. real-time mathematical modeling of lending, behavioral/transactional, investment decision-making and other applied banking issues

• Manage developing/building, improving, implementing and monitoring of machine learning and deep learning models
• Organize and manage the process of working with data
• Support with ML model testing and implementation
• Ensure continuous use of the latest AI/ML algorithms/methods, cutting-edge data analysis tools, process optimization, and enhancement of function efficiency
• Manage the process of design, regulation and approval of model creation, testing and implementation environment
• Perform ML applications’ code review, optimization, continuous process improvement and modernization
• Collaborate effectively with product teams and IT subdivisions
• Document the entire modeling lifecycle, ensure availability of internal regulations, model overviews

• University degree in Data Science, Mathematics/Applied Mathematics, Modeling, IT/technical and/or other relevant field
• Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
• Knowledge of AI/ML models/algorithms, experience in managing large projects
• Excellent knowledge of Python language, experience in developing ML applications
• Knowledge of SQL and BI
• Analytical thinking, advanced skills of working independently and within a team
• Commitment to work and strong sense of responsibility
