• Build and evolve a real-time cross-selling platform with real-time data flows and business logic for personalized offers in an insurance context;
• Own the backend powering multiple user-facing applications and advance the gRPC-based microservice architecture;
• Design and maintain REST/gRPC APIs integrating with core insurance platforms and third-party services, including risk scoring, KYC, and payments;
• Model and manage transactional PostgreSQL data, including policies, claims, customer records, and audit trails;
• Implement event-driven workflows with RabbitMQ or Kafka for claims, policy updates, and notifications;
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests for monetary calculations and claims and premium accuracy;
• Instrument services with Grafana and Prometheus to monitor critical flows and proactively detect issues;
• Participate in code reviews to maintain high platform and codebase quality standards;
• Contribute to platform design and development with emphasis on scalability, availability, and resilience;
• Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, and DevOps in an Agile/Scrum framework to translate business and regulatory requirements into technical solutions;
• Contribute to architectural decisions balancing flexibility for multiple consuming applications with maintainability and fault tolerance.

• 6+ Years of commercial software development experience, including 4+ years of production experience with Go;
• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field;
• Strong hands-on experience with Golang, including goroutines and channels;
• Experience building and maintaining gRPC-based microservices and REST APIs;
• Experience with PostgreSQL, Docker, and RabbitMQ or Kafka;
• Experience with unit and integration testing and service monitoring using Prometheus and Grafana;
• Experience designing scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant backend systems;
• Strong understanding of resilience, idempotency, and SLA-driven system design;
• Extensive experience implementing and integrating AI solutions within engineering teams;
• Experience in fintech or banking domains and complex system integrations;
• Strong ownership mindset, active participation in code reviews, and experience working in Agile/Scrum teams;
• English from Upper-Intermediate+ level and above;
• Nice to have: prior experience in insurance or other regulated domains, familiarity with GDPR and PCI DSS, understanding of insurance concepts including policies, underwriting, and claims lifecycle.
