Go Developer

One of the largest retail companies in Europe is building a sovereign cloud infrastructure designed to keep critical data and services within the European Union, independent of major US or Asian providers. The team responsible for this platform develops fundamental systems that protect, encrypt, and manage keys and secrets essential for the security of the entire infrastructure.

• Build the Key Management Service (KMS) to generate, rotate, and protect encryption keys across the platform;
• Develop envelope encryption flows to manage relationships between data keys and master keys;
• Create Kubernetes Operators to automate the system's lifecycle without manual intervention;
• Design APIs for other teams to request keys, sign documents, or verify signatures;
• Ensure the product meets industry security standards such as AES, RSA, ECDSA, and HMAC;
• Operate the systems designed under a "you build it, you run it" model.

• Professional experience building software in Go;
• Practical experience with Kubernetes, specifically building Operators;
• Solid knowledge of applied cryptography, including symmetric and asymmetric encryption, key management, and digital signatures;
• Fluent English for working with international counterparts;
• Nice to have: Experience in a cybersecurity company, cloud provider, or platform/infrastructure team.
