• Own the unit's backend as a whole, ensuring coherence, reliability, and evolution of all services;
• Validate and approve technical decisions, including ADRs, RFCs, and API contracts;
• Propose platform-level solutions and turn recurring incidents into systemic fixes;
• Audit the backend for tech debt, performance, reliability, and security;
• Drive improvement plans to production;
• Write production code in critical areas;
• Resolve complex bugs and incidents and implement post-mortem action items;
• Mentor seniors and tech leads, set standards, and drive Spec-First and AI-assisted development quality.

• Experience designing distributed high-load systems, including microservices and event-driven architectures;
• Expertise in Go;
• Proficiency with SQL, NoSQL, data modeling, Redis, and concurrency;
• Knowledge of observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana, SRE practices, and deployment strategies;
• Understanding of OWASP, authentication, authorization, and antifraud mechanisms;
• Familiarity with latency management, local regulations, and data privacy standards like GDPR and LGPD;
• Hands-on experience with AI-assisted development and a Spec-First mindset.
