Full-Stack Software Engineer- Growth AI Solutions

The Growth AI Solutions team builds internal products that help Navan’s Growth organization work smarter and move faster. We are looking for a solution-oriented Full-Stack Software Engineer who can turn real business problems into simple, reliable, and useful products.

This role is for an engineer who wants to understand the product, the workflows, and the people using what they build. You will work independently on AI-powered tools, automations, and internal applications- from identifying the right problem to shipping a solution that people actually adopt.

• Own projects end-to-end, from problem definition and workflow discovery to implementation, launch, and iteration
• Build fullstack internal products using TypeScript, Node.js, React, APIs, and data
• Learn how Growth teams work and translate their workflows into simple, effective solutions
• Turn ambiguous requirements into practical technical and product decisions
• Build AI-powered features, workflows, and automations using LLMs and modern AI tools
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand their needs and measure whether solutions create value
• Write clear, maintainable code and deliver reliable products in an agile environment
• Use AI coding tools thoughtfully to improve speed, quality, and learning

• 1–2 years of professional software engineering experience in a product or technology company
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field from a leading academic institution
• Strong experience with TypeScript and Node.js
• Experience with a modern web framework such as React, Vue, or Angular
• Experience building and shipping fullstack web applications
• Good understanding of APIs, relational databases, and SQL
• Strong product sense and curiosity about business processes and end-to-end workflows
• Ability to work independently, solve ambiguous problems, and make thoughtful tradeoffs
• Hands-on experience with AI coding tools such as Cursor, Claude, Copilot, or similar
• Creativity, originality, strong communication skills, and a practical approach to problem solving
