full stack developer in payment infrastructure

The company provides recruitment and consulting services and supplies technology professionals to financial services clients. The role supports payment infrastructure behind a widely used Dutch application with more than 11 million users.

• Design end-to-end solutions from architecture and solution design through deployment and continuous optimization;
• Build and evolve payment infrastructure;
• Influence technical direction;
• Raise engineering quality standards;
• Help fellow engineers grow;
• Develop across frontend and backend systems;
• Build resilient and scalable cloud-native solutions in a regulated payments environment;
• Use AWS, GitHub, AI-assisted development, GitHub Actions, and AI-assisted delivery workflows.

• Senior-level experience with large-scale digital products or platforms;
• Payments domain experience, including processing, transaction flows, PSD2, acquiring, gateways and/or wallets;
• Deep production experience designing microservices architectures;
• Strong hands-on AWS experience with CloudFormation, ECS, Lambda, DynamoDB, SNS, and SQS;
• Proficiency in TypeScript, Node.js, React, Java/Spring Boot, and AWS CDK;
• Experience with Agentic Engineering or AI-native development practices;
• Professional team experience using GitHub Copilot or comparable AI coding tools;
• Experience with GitHub Actions and AI-assisted delivery workflows as part of a standard process;
• Background in banking and/or fintech.

• Contract engagement for 3+ months;
• The position is based in Amsterdam;
• Interview process consists of 2 stages.
