full stack developer for e-commerce discovery

Constructor provides a product discovery platform for e-commerce, including search, recommendations, and personalized shopping experiences. Its in-house search engine uses transformers and generative LLMs to optimize revenue, conversion rates, and profit. The platform processes over 1 billion queries daily across 150 languages and approximately 100 countries.

• Implement and maintain web application features in collaboration with other engineers;
• Develop customer dashboard features using TypeScript and React that interact with Python and FastAPI backend services;
• Participate in brainstorming sessions to develop features and tools for Offsite Discovery;
• Collaborate with technical and non-technical business partners to develop and update application functionality;
• Keep stakeholders informed about project progress and developments.

• Strong foundation in client-side JavaScript, computer science, and networking principles;
• Solid experience with TypeScript and frontend frameworks such as React;
• Experience building, maintaining, and debugging full-stack web applications;
• Experience with Python and FastAPI, Flask, or Django, or willingness to learn and work with this stack;
• Good understanding of API design principles;
• Familiarity with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA);
• Experience with relational databases, distributed systems, and caching solutions such as MySQL/PostgreSQL;
• Analytical skills and experience using SQL to gather insights for dashboard reports and solutions, including ClickHouse and Athena;
• Experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP;
• Experience collaborating in cross-functional teams;
• Excellent English communication skills;
• Must be located within or near the WET timezone and available to work core business hours approximately 9:00 AM–6:00 PM WET;
• Nice to have: familiarity with serverless design patterns, particularly AWS Lambda, and experience working in remote environments.
