full stack developer for banking applications

Societe Generale's Financing and Transactional Banking division supports, maintains, and develops the information system for digital and transversal banking offers. The system primarily consists of in-house Java modules deployed on the SG Cloud platform, with a planned migration to Azure.

• Understand business requirements and define technical solutions;
• Design innovative solutions compliant with architects’ recommendations and production requirements;
• Develop code using Software Craftsmanship best practices and quality standards;
• Deliver regular product increments;
• Ensure production quality through TDD, BDD, and automation practices;
• Formalize and perform unit and end-to-end tests throughout development and before go-lives;
• Act as a technical referent for modules owned by the Feature Team;
• Build and maintain technical documentation;
• Provide Level 2 production support following the “You build it, you run it” principle;
• Participate actively in continuous improvement activities.

• Several years of experience as a software developer or software engineer specializing in Java;
• Knowledge of Java, Spring, Springboot, Springbatch, Hibernate, JPA, REST API, Angular, SQL, Kubernetes, and Cucumber;
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Github, Docker, Jenkins, Sonar, and Kibana;
• Continuous improvement mindset;
• Knowledge and application of Software Craftsmanship, Clean Code, pair programming, TDD, and BDD;
• Familiarity with Agile;
• Fluent English;
• Strong communication skills and ability to work in a team.
