Full Stack Developer

EPAM Systems provides enterprise software products, open source solutions, and accelerators.

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable full-stack applications using Java-based backend technologies and modern frontend frameworks;
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and event-driven services to support complex business requirements;
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements analysis and technical design through implementation, testing, and deployment;
• Collaborate with product owners, business analysts, UX designers, and QA engineers to deliver high-quality solutions;
• Contribute to architectural decisions and advocate for best practices in code quality, security, and performance;
• Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to ensure maintainability and adherence to coding standards;
• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure the reliability and stability of delivered features;
• Work with messaging systems and asynchronous communication patterns to support distributed architectures;
• Identify opportunities for technical improvement and contribute to the evolution of the technology stack.

• At least 5 years of professional experience in Full Stack software development;
• Strong hands-on experience with Spring Boot for enterprise-grade backend applications;
• Solid knowledge of Spring Security for authentication, authorization, and secure application design;
• Proven experience designing and developing REST APIs following industry best practices;
• Proficiency with SQL databases, including complex queries, performance tuning, and data modeling;
• Experience writing reliable and maintainable tests using JUnit or similar testing frameworks;
• Hands-on experience with Apache Kafka for event streaming, asynchronous messaging, and event-driven architectures;
• Strong proficiency in Angular or React, including component-based architecture and state management;
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an international Agile team;
• Proficiency in English (B2+), both written and spoken;
• Nice to have: Terraform, Microsoft Azure, Python, Hibernate ORM, AWS Lambda, ECS, and DynamoDB.

• Hybrid work model with 3 days per week from an EPAM office;
• Offices are located in Kraków, Wrocław, or Gdańsk.
