Soda provides a data quality layer and Data & AI performance monitoring platform that helps customers find, understand, and fix data quality issues through automated post-production monitoring and pre-production pipeline data testing.

• Own complex, data-dense UIs, including dashboards, monitoring views, large tables, diffs, and drill-downs;
• Drive component architecture, state management, and frontend performance;
• Build with a component library and Storybook while keeping the design system coherent;
• Write tests at every layer and maintain a meaningful Cypress e2e suite;
• Build frontend interfaces for agentic, LLM-powered workflows;
• Improve frontend systems for agentic development through conventions, Storybook coverage, and reliable tests;
• Shape consumed APIs and implement Java backend changes when needed;
• Mentor backend-focused engineers on frontend development;
• Work directly with product, design, and customers to decide what to build.

• 5+ Years building frontend applications for real products with real users;
• Expert TypeScript and deep experience with a modern framework;
• Strong frontend craft across component architecture, state management, rendering performance, responsive design, and visual detail;
• Regularly write tests, including e2e tests with Cypress or Playwright;
• Read and modify Java services, design APIs from the consumer's perspective, and write competent SQL;
• Understand how API design affects round-trips, data flow, and perceived UI latency;
• Ship production code with AI coding agents such as Claude Code or Cursor while maintaining a high quality bar;
• Work independently in a distributed, async team across 12+ countries;
• Fluent English;
• Nice to have: Angular, data-heavy or developer-tool products, data visualization, monitoring or analytics UIs, design-system or component-library ownership, multi-tenant SaaS at scale, high-growth startup experience, Python, agentic workflows, data quality, data management, data observability, or ML monitoring experience.
