Frontend Developer

DATATRONiQ is a German deep-tech startup focused on Industrial IoT and Edge AI. Its platform collects telemetry from sensors and controllers in modern industrial fleets, while machine-learning models detect anomalies and quality patterns before they become visible in production.

• Design and develop the dashboard frontend with React and TypeScript, from initial concept through production rollout on Kubernetes;
• Ensure frontend quality through testing, accessibility, and production performance;
• Shape interaction, visualization, and visual clarity;
• Translate Industrial IoT requirements into intuitive and visually consistent features;
• Contribute to technical decisions covering libraries, tooling, CI pipelines, and monitoring;
• Introduce new development practices to the team;
• Collaborate daily with the backend team and data scientists;
• Participate in code reviews and pair programming.

• At least three years of commercial frontend experience with TypeScript and React;
• Very strong React skills;
• Experience with testing and modern state-management patterns;
• Strong understanding of interaction, typography, hierarchy, and consistency;
• Very good English skills, spoken and written;
• Nice to have: Kubernetes in production, deploying own services, CI/CD, scalability, monitoring, experience or serious interest in Go backend development, curiosity about AI/ML products including chatbots, deep learning, and generative models.

• Work is predominantly on-site in Stuttgart, Ulm, or Berlin;
• The team independently decides on architecture, tooling, and test coverage;
• End-to-end responsibility for the dashboard, from feature conception to rollout;
• Opportunity to use agentic tools such as Codex and Claude Code;
• Industrial IoT projects for customers worldwide.
