Engineering Manager for restaurant management platform

• Lead and grow a senior team of App Engineers while maintaining high standards for quality and craft
• Drive the app roadmap and translate business priorities into a shippable plan with product and design
• Make architecture decisions across native and cross-platform code, balancing speed with long-term maintainability
• Build engineering culture by mentoring the team, championing best practices, and collaborating with cross-functional partners
• Run the team’s day-to-day operations, including 1:1s, planning, hiring, and performance feedback
• Contribute to the product roadmap by shipping features

• 7+ Years of professional experience as a mobile engineer and at least 2+ years in leadership roles
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex technical trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven experience managing engineering teams as a people manager, ideally in a fast-moving product company
• Strong technical background in iOS, Android, or cross-platform mobile development, with sound judgment on architecture decisions
• Comfortable with ambiguity and able to set direction without waiting for perfect information
